An Art Of Learning

Drona International Academy is a noble educational initiative where students are not only provided with an opportunity to excel academically but also a right school climate where a child can develop fully as a complete human being. Education is essentially the art of learning, not only from books, but from the whole movement of life. The purpose of education is to equip the child with the most excellent academic and technological proficiency so that the child may function with clarity and efficiency in the modern world. An equally important purpose is to awaken the intelligence and generosity of spirit in students so that they are able to cultivate a global outlook, a love of nature and a concern for mankind, as Martin Luther King, Jr. said “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education”.

ACADEMICS : A happy, stimulating, secured learning environment ensures happy, sensitive, life- long learners who will be change makers in society. The curriculum is child-centered and activity based so that learning is made fun and enjoyable. Innovative and effective teaching methodologies are used by the teachers with focus on the constantly changing educational pedagogy which enhances academic achievement.

Our efforts at DIA are therefore directed towards an emphasis on regularity, speed, intellectual stimuli (brain development) and confidence building.

It is indeed exhilarating to see that DIA team is incessantly moving forward to disseminate the fragrance of holistic education to those who need it the most.

We hope that our efforts would help each one of our students to take up top positions when they venture out in the world, where there are tremendous opportunities for the takers. There is a literal void of 45 million jobs at world level, for which our youth must prepare diligently now.

I therefore urge our children to keep the reins of life in their hands, take guidance from teachers and parents, have good values, right attitudes and understand & apply what they learn each day.
